Here at Puppy Therapy, we strive for perfection as we help you find the perfect puppy! We have made it our responsibility to connect you with a healthy and happy furry friend.
Our Promise To You
We offer a NO PUPPY MILL GUARANTEE. Puppy Therapy is committed to working with strictly local and hobby breeders, this gives our puppies a happier life from day one because each puppy is carefully cared for before they enter your loving home. This significantly reduces the likelihood of the sales of sick dogs and maltreatment of animals due to mass sales, supply and demand. We only have 5-10 puppies on site, which means that sometimes we have a waiting list (this is not always the case so please check with us to see if which pups we currently carry). Our puppies are family and we hope to serve you with the resources that we carefully identified to help you with your selection process.
Puppy Therapy is a service committed to helping responsible private breeders place puppies in caring homes. We have placed their puppies with caring individuals and families in California, Texas, Louisiana, Georgia, New York, Washington DC and across the continental USA.
Puppy Therapy is a community of canine lovers with a mission of placing the “right puppy in the right home”. We wish to make lives better by placing healthy pups in happy, loving, and nurturing homes.
About Us
Welcome to Puppy Therapy!! We pride ourselves in providing a new innovative way of matching families with companion pets. Puppy Therapy is a concept that departs from commercial breeders who operate large-scaled puppy stores. We know first hand through personal experience with our four-legged friends that there is a deep connection between animals and humans because of the loving interaction that is present in relationship to each other. We disagree with the process of commercial breeders and believe that we must be committed and accountable for ensuring that each family is matched to their ideal healthy puppy.
A Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist who studied the therapeutic advantages of having animal companionship developed the concept of Puppy Therapy. We understand the value of human connection and dogs because of the therapeutic benefits they provide. This is why we are committed to connecting you with a healthy and happy fur-ever friend. Puppies bring so much happiness to everyone and we believe that we all could benefit from a furry friend!!

Our Services
Puppy Match is a personalized approach to placing the “right puppy in the right home”.
We match families with their ideal puppy by exploring their specific needs. Such considerations include whether if there are children in the home, the ages of the children, care-takers, mobility, the size of the dog requested, temperament, etc.
Each interested client will complete a brief questionnaire to ensure that we are clear about the type of dog they are interested in as well as to clarify expectations of what it will be like when the puppy enters the home.
It is our goal to match you with a puppy that meets your needs for companionship and is a loving fit. We are also interested in ensuring that your puppy is an ideal fit because we are invested in finding fur-ever homes for our puppies. It is our hope that Puppy Match will reduce the number of puppies dropped off to shelters each year.
What is an emotional support animal? An emotional support animal is a therapeutic animal that is not required to have any special training. Under the Fair Housing Act, puppies and dogs qualify as an emotional support animal as their presence may alleviate anxiety, depression, and other emotional conditions.
If you are interested in a puppy to support with your emotional needs (such as loneliness, anxiety, sadness, depression, etc..) you are currently protected under the law if a licensed mental health professional writes an emotional support letter documenting the need for an emotional support animal.
Please note: This is not to be confused with service animals, which requires specialized training.
