When purchasing a puppy, you should be able to touch base and talk to a live person about the puppy you are thinking about purchasing. Any reputable business or breeder selling puppies wants to ensure that the puppy’s new potential home is a good fit. We want to get to know you! Key Factors To Look Out For

Poor Communication
Be cautious of Text free Google numbers, and people with different accents. Also, strange emails that don’t match the business or breeder’s identification.

Low Prices
Be wary of unbelievably low prices or unrealistic offers- Scammers will promote puppies way out of average price range such as $500-$800. Making you feel as if you’re getting a good deal, but in reality it is too good to be true.

Unrealistic Delivery Timeframes
They may promise to get the puppy delivered to you by doorstep within 48 to 72 hours. Anyone legitimate will have to transition the puppy and get them ready to go home. Which can take up to 1-6 weeks. via unsecure wires or gift card

Unconventional Payment Methods
Avoid sellers who only accept unconventional payment methods- Scammers will MOST times ask for Western Union or MoneyGram, money transfer, gift card, Zelle ect. Payments that CANNOT be traced back to them. Only will work with companies that accept any major debit/ credit cards and will never ask you for your card information over the phone.
